{ Fashion Friday } Grunge Glamour + Zara August 2010 Lookbook

It's Fashion Friday, once again and we're getting started on the Fall 2010 trends! So this trend "Grunge Glamor" pairs formal evening skirts with oversized sweaters... I don't know about all that, but the Zara August lookbook features this sweater and maxi skirt combo that looks super snuggly and perfect for everyday.

Here are a couple other looks I absolutely adore, check out these high waisted denim slacks and gorgeous textured purple maxi.

{ Fashion Friday } Printed Pantaloons

Would you rock this wacky trend? I kinda like it, especially since it gives me an opportunity to experiment with mixing patterns. Here's what Vogue has to say:

"Banish thoughts of your gap-year or that bizarre festival juggler and look for a great cut in crisp cotton or shantung silk. Match your trousers with a simple vest, a man’s silk pyjama top or a white tuxedo jacket."

Fashion Friday trend this week is grubby gold!
  • More is more: take your styling cue from Lanvin and clutter-up with earrings and layered necklaces.
  • Look for other metallic off-colours; choose pewter over silver and dirty bronze over shiny gold.

Fashion Friday: Whitewash

You know I couldn't just leave you without a proper Fashion Friday post! There are a couple different ways to wear the whitewash trend: Look #1 Accent with neutrals, like beige and nude. Look # 2 Keep is all white, and focus on the details, like this rosette top. Look # 3 Accent with a contrasting color, like black.

Fashion Friday: Tribal

This Fashion Friday ties into last week's army jacket trend.
