{ How to Wear a Maxi Dress } Colorful Cardigan

I was recently asked how to wear the maxi dresses I've been featuring on my blog. I'll be doing a series of these, just in time for the summer. The simplest way to dress up a simple solid maxi dress is to pair it with a colorful cardigan like this one from Forever 21. Pair it with simple accessories and a solid scarf, and voila!

This may sound dumb but how do you end up covering the chest when wearing this combo? Do you need a really wide scarf that when you wrap it's very long? From my experience I haven't been able to find a maxi dress that was already high cut enough to where only my collarbone was visible.

with a long sleeve top underneath I would say, and if its close fitted then add a cardigan :)

you could either wear a high tank top under, leave the first couple buttons closed, or drape your hijab over for coverage
